Here's To Kidding Around

Monday, September 17, 2018 by Shaul Greenwald

Being a working parent with young children isn't easy.

With the gap between traditional day camps and back to school as well as so many vacation days during September Jewish holidays, it’s a time of year when so many parents struggle with keeping up with their jobs while keeping their kids occupied in a safe, fun and productive manner.

When our staff brought this to my attention, Riverside reacted by creating a full service, all day, day-camp for the in-between days. We recently finished our 10 day, day camp program right before labor day and the results were relaxed parents and 70 happy “Riverside Kids” who enjoyed swimming and amazing activities with daily hot lunches and snacks provided. Our staff didn't have to spend money or time worrying about childcare and knew their children were having a super time. I find it so important to listen to our team and try to respond to their needs.

I have always viewed our eam as my extended family and providing thoughtful services is so important to me to show appreciation for their hard work that they put in on a daily basis to create a great experience for our clients. We are always on the hunt for new ways to make their life easier.
